About Us

Mission Statement: To create and promote an atmosphere where every baseball player can reach their full potential.

Who we are

Our Philosophy

Every baseball player is unique, so why do so many coaches and organizations have everyone do the exact same thing every day?

At The Lab we want every athlete that steps through our door to be the best player they can be. For that reason, we are continuing to learn and evolve every day. We aren't married to any particular drills or routines. What is best for the individual, will always be best for us!

We know that great players are highly skilled, strong, mobile, smart, fast, and healthy. Our training philosophy mirrors that. We try to identify limitations, create plans to fix them, and continue to test and retest to make sure those plans are working over time.

Our Facility

Our goal when we set out to build our facility was to create a place where every baseball player, regardless of age or skill level, could come in every day and have access to whatever they need to get better. With 4,000 square feet at our disposal, we wanted to be incredibly versatile with our space. We knew that everything we were building had to be of the highest quality.

For that reason we included:

  • State of the Art Netting System: Our fully retractable, 13 foot high netting system allows for a 70 ft x 36 foot open layout, two 70 ft x 18 ft tunnels, or four 35 ft x 18 ft hitting cages.
  • Pitcher's Mound: A built-in, 40 foot long, rubber coated pitchers mound that perfectly mirror the slope of a mound you would find on a field. The mound has 6 pitching rubbers spaced out throughout the back wall of the facility.
  • State-of-the-art turf: Allows for a safe, game like material to take ground balls, sprint, hit off of, and much more
  • 16 foot long Plyo-wall: Used to throw plyo-balls and med balls against, our turf lined wall is built to deaden sound as much as possible for the convenience of our players and neighbors.
  • Warm-Up Area:  We included a space for our athletes to be able to warm-up before, and cool down after their workouts. The warm-up area has J-Band hooks in the wall, plenty of foam rollers and other myofascial release tools, and a number of arm care tools to keep our players healthy.
  • Weight Room: To build the complete player, we knew we needed to include a space for our athletes to get strong. In the weight room, we have 2 Pro-Style Squat Racks, a deadlifting station, benches, dumbbells up to 90 pounds, kettle bells, and much more.

Our Coaches

Lab Baseball coaches all have vast playing and coaching experience at the Youth, High School, and College levels. We demand hard work, growth, passion, and a love for the game from all of our coaches. The same way we want our players to get better every day, we want our coaches to get better every day through continuing education, research, and experience. As founders, we take developing our coaches just as serious as developing our players. If we can help every one of our coaches improve, that will help all of our players improve as well.
